For College Academic entrance examination vary with the status of the prospective student, the program in which he/she desires to enrol and the requirements of the department. The College reserved the right to reject an applicant whose qualification do not meet the standards and requirements of the program and of the department **************************************** The above is "copied" from your ADMISSION page. Please note the following... 1. Examination - (noun) a formal test of knowledge or proficiency in a subject or skill. (The word EXAMINATION is in singular form and therefore the verb (vary) must be in the third person singular form). It MUST be written as....Academic entrance examination varies....or else use....Academic entrance examinations vary... 2. Qualification - (noun)a pass of an examination or an official completion of a course. (The same grammatical error as #1). Therefore you either use.....an applicant whose qualification does not (doesn''t ?)... or must be written as.... an applicant whose qualifications do not.... 3. Enrol or Enroll - (verb) - officially register as a member or student. The word "enrol" is a British word while "enroll" is an American word. Both are correct but unless the Philippines is now using the British English then everybody can use the word "enrol". 4. Every statement or sentence must end with a period. 5. Be consistent. The verbs are all in present form except for the word "reserved". The College reserves the right to... (not reserved)... Well, maybe this is not just a very simple grammatical error to us . But this webpage is published in the internet. I am sure nobody cares if this webpage is not from a respected school but considering that FCIC is offering courses majoring in English and even Masters'' degrees in English then this is something to be done with utmost care. Calling Mrs. Baltazar. Ma''am, I''m sure this is not the way you teach your English students in school right now. The Philippines is known as the "texting" capital of the planet. Is dis 1 of da epects op da rong speling and gramar we sent tru da "text messages" ebry minet? Just asking. Peace.

On sunday, november 24th 2007 we had a meeting with 10 members from our class 71 held in Manolita''s house at 338 del Pilar st. Baybay-city. This is only a beginning for organizing a big reunion in next year 2008. We can only succeed if everybody helps us to find our schoolmates. We asked the webmaster from FCIC to give us an account so we can make our own website under the ALUMNI sites. On december 9th 2007 we are planning our second meeting. Please contact Zenaida Villaber or Manolita Mazo - phone 3352162 I hope we can meet each other on december 28th,2007 in ALUMNI homecoming FCIC-gym. Greetings, Manolita Mazo, Renato Ortega and Lolita Lim
